Enjoy the views from our harborside chaise lounges
Pick up a drink and appetizer from the bar and bring it down to the harbor where we have several chaise lounges for your enjoyment.
SPC Kayaks and Paddleboards
We have five kayaks and four paddleboards for your enjoyment between the hours of 8:30 am - 4:30 pm. The best time to go kayaking is in the morning when it’s calm. There is nothing more breathtaking than an early morning cruise to the islands and back. Get a group together and plan your cruise.
Please remember that you must wear a life preserver and you need to tell us where you are going and how long you will be out. These restrictions are for your safety. You need to stay hydrated so be sure to take along water.
Kayaks and Paddleboards are first come, first serve.

This activity requires a Liability Waiver for all adults and minors. You can fill one out when you arrive at the Club or download and print a copy to fill out and bring with you. Note: Minors require a parent's signature on the form.
Islander Charters
 We have developed another boating opportunity for Sakonnet Point Club members with Islander Charters. Islander Charters is owned by Little Compton resident and Sakonnet Harbormaster, Mike Massa.
Islander Charters offers SPC members a wide variety of charter options. Here are just a few:
- Fishing Seminar (adults or children over 10 years old)
- One Day Fishing Seminar—covers basic methods of trolling and bottom fishing. 4 guest minimum.

Three Day Fishing Seminar—covers many different methods of catching local fish, i.e., trolling, casting, chunking, and live bait. Also bottom fishing for sea bass and summer flounder. Learn techniques on filleting and packaging your catch.
- Fishing Charter
- Half Day Bass and Blue (4 hours)—fish off scenic Newport, RI
- Full Day Bass, Blues, Fluke, and Sea Bass (7 hours)
- Offshore Deep Sea Tuna and Shark (10 hours)
- Dinner Cruise
- Cruise the Little Compton shoreline or the Newport Mansions then duck into Gooseberry Cove or Third Beach and indulge in a sumptuous dinner provided by our Chef. Call the General Manager at (401) 635-2582 x401 for our onboard menu and prices.
- Water Taxi Service
- If you need to go anywhere locally on the water, we can provide your transportation needs. Newport, Block Island, Martha's Vineyard, Providence...any waterfront location is possible.
 Guide service available, please call for details. Charters are for up to 6 guests and prices do not include gratuities.
